Email Tutorials
- Creating a POP eMail Account When creating your email account(s): Select “Default for the Domain” for the Mailbox Quota option. This will help keep your mailbox from filling up and subsequently sending incoming mail back to the sender as bounced. Please also set a secure password! This is very important! Using passwords such as your kids and pets names, birth and anniversary dates and other common things that anyone can find out about you or use to figure out your email passwords by cruising the Internet just invites trouble. We do our best for your security, but you must do your part, too! Long passwords that use combinations of random letters, numbers and symbols are more secure. We know it’s tempting to use familiar phrases for email logins, but following this tip will help you keep you email more secure. It won’t take long to memorize it and it will become just as easy to input as a common phrase that others can figure out. It’s also recommended to change your email password several times a year.

A few notes of importance: Not all hosting accounts have the same features. There are also some features in Plesk that are disabled for all accounts for security reasons.
Although in most cases the icon for Dr. Web AntiVirus is visible as an option, we do not offer it to any of our clients. It’s your responsibility to have your own anti-virus program for your email. If you set this up, it simply will not function.
Autoresponders has been permanently disabled due to spam issues.
In most cases, the Application Vault is visible as an option. It’s not a good idea to use this as the different add-ons that you may want to use on your site are older versions. Plesk installs these as part of the control panel, but they do not keep the script or software versions current. You are much better off going to the web site of the program you wish to utilize and obtain the newest version from them. Check with the developer of the script or software you wish to use for tech support. We do not provide support for any Application Vault options or features.
Do not submit HELP tickets through the Plesk admin. This is not a supported feature. If you need assistance, visit our contact page and submit your request here or use the email address for us supplied with your hosting welcome letter.
If you have any questions, contact us and we’ll assist you.
