SEO Evaluations

Listed below is a brief sampling of some of the elements I review when evaluating web sites for SEO purposes along with some of the services that are performed. The actual services provided are dependent upon which SEO Plan you select.

  • Review, research and analyze keywords, key phrases and content.
  • Review and edit tags, titles, overall web site coding and images.
  • Review and monitoring (every 8-12 weeks) and modifications as needed is available with the Advanced SEO Plan.
  • Rewrite content as needed which is 90% dependent on Client participation.
  • Submit to appropriate directories as needed and is performed only with a full 100% commitment and participation from the Client!
  • Search bot technology has progressed significantly, submissions to search engines is no longer necessary.

The evaluation is generally initiated within 10-14 business days of receipt of payment. Your web site is evaluated for search engine needs and upon completion of the evaluation, I then perform the actual site optimization.

Fees for actual SEO services are billed at an hourly rate of $50.00 per hour for all work performed. The work will be performed but held for upload to your site until final payment is received.

You may take advantage of the convenient online payment options or if you prefer you may pay by check. If you prefer to mail-in a check or money order, both your evaluation and your upload will be delayed until your payment clears my bank.

Important: In order to perform the necessary services, I must download your existing static site or if your site is built in a Content Management System, I will need to access the CMS administration area of the site. Accessing the site is discussed in the SEO Application (see “How to Get the Process Started” at the bottom of this page).

During the time the work is being performed you must not make any changes to existing pages on your site. Please notify your web designer of this! It’s best if I have the contact information for your web designer so that we can work directly with him or her if need be.

Static Sites: After the work is performed and we upload your new pages, your web designer must download the newly optimized pages in order to make any updates to your site. For CMS Sites: You or your designer must make a backup of the CMS and database. I am not responsible if updates are made to your site by you or your web designer that result in overwriting the SEO services after the work is completed. I’m also not responsible if your web designer alters the work after it’s performed.

SEO Evaluation Fees

Evaluation fees are based on the average amount of time it takes to review your site in order to determine the work that needs to be performed. After reviewing your site, I will then provide you with an estimated cost to perform the work. New clients not covered under any other DMD contract are required to remit a non-refundable retainer, the amount of which is generally 50% of the estimated total cost with the balance due and paid online within 48 hours of completion of the work.

  • $99.00 – up to 5 pages
  • $179.00 – 6 to 15 pages
  • $229.00 – 16 to 25 pages
  • Sites totaling more than 25 pages should remit the $229.00 fee and you are then billed hourly for the time it takes to review the additional pages.

How to Get the Process Started

If you’re ready to start the process of helping your web site gain higher rankings, you will need to download, complete and return the SEO Application form. Due to the fact that I must secure private login and site information in order to complete the work, for security reasons you must return the form to us by means of U.S. Mail or fax. Instructions are in the document.
